VORO ARCADE

Privacy

Last updated 17 September 2026

Voro Arcade is a free browser game site. This page describes exactly what the site does with information, in plain terms. It is deliberately short, because the site deliberately does very little.

What is stored on your device

The site saves a small amount of data in your browser's local storage:

Clearing your browser data for this site erases all of it.

The leaderboard

This is the one thing that leaves your device. When a run beats your previous best, three things are sent to this site's database and are publicly visible to anyone:

Your name is never published, even if you sign in with Google. The tag is the only name the board ever shows, and you pick it. Signing in with Google does one thing: it lets the same scores follow you between your phone and your computer.

A leaderboard entry stays on the board. If you want yours removed, ask through the contact link below.

Accounts

You can play everything without signing in. Entering as a guest creates an anonymous account automatically: no email, no password, no prompt. It exists so your scores can be told apart from everyone else's on the leaderboard. Anonymous accounts unused for 30 days are deleted.

If you choose "Sync with Google", Google handles the sign in and tells this site your display name and email address. Those are used only to recognise you on another device. Neither is ever published, and neither appears on the leaderboard.

Abuse protection

The leaderboard is world readable and anyone can reach the database behind it, so the site uses Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise to check that a score is being posted by this page in a real browser rather than by a script. This runs only when you sign in or finish a run, never when you are simply looking at the lobby.

reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information about your browser and how you interact with the page, and sends it to Google for analysis. It does not ask you to solve a puzzle and there is nothing to click. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply to that. The site receives only a yes or no, never the underlying data.

Analytics

The site may count how many times each game is started and finished, so it is possible to tell whether anyone is playing. These are aggregate counts. They do not use advertising cookies, do not build a profile of you, and are not tied to your guest id or your account.

Advertising

Google AdSense code is present on this site. No advertisements are being served yet; the in-game ad screens you may see are placeholders that serve nothing and say so on their face. Google may set cookies or use device identifiers through that code, and Google's own advertising privacy information applies to it.

If real advertising is switched on, most of it is Google's rewarded format: you are offered an optional ad in exchange for something in the game, and declining always costs you nothing. There is one exception, and it is deliberate: a short unskippable ad after every fifth failed run of Voro DROP.

Children

Voro Arcade is intended for players aged 13 and over.

This page is a plain description of what the code on this site actually does. It is not legal advice. If Voro Arcade starts serving real advertising, takes payments, or takes on visitors from regions with their own requirements, this page will need reviewing against those rules rather than being assumed to still be complete.
